Facts About Menopause Women
experience many different physical and emotion changes during menopause. This is often due
to declining levels of estrogen and progesterone produced, creating an imbalance in the
body. Menopause can also have an impact on the nervous, genitourinary, musculoskeletal and
cardiovascular systems.
Phytoestrogens have been shown to exert estrogenic effects on the body, creating either
an increase or decrease in estrogen effect depending on the bodys estrogen level.
Phytoestrogens also help to balance progesterone levels so that estrogen and progesterone
are in ratios that are most supportive to the body.
In addition to phytoestrogens, nutrients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6,
Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid, Niacinamide, Calcium and Magnesium are also beneficial to
the body during menopause.
