Facts About Enzymes and Digestion You
are born with a "bank account" of pancreatic enzymes, which are necessary for
digestion. Raw foods also contain vital enzymes which make them easier to digest. Every
time you eat dead, over-cooked, processed, canned or frozen foods your body must produce
the missing enzymes in order to complete digestion. When this takes place over years, a
deficiency of these enzymes can occur, making digestion and subsequent absorption of
nutrients difficult.
Do you often suffer from heartburn or an upset stomach particularly after you
eat? Do you feel bloated or gassy, or have irregular bowel movements?
If you have poor digestion, you cant assimilate the nutrients you take in and the
body becomes deficient. Furthermore, undigested food can become putrefied within the body,
which results in the buildup of toxins. Supplementing with digestive Enzyme Plus supports the
digestive process and in doing so helps prevent the buildup of these unwanted substances.
